Princeton Man Charged With Assault And Strangulation


A Princeton man was arrested on multiple charges after local law enforcement responded to a reported domestic disturbance Thursday morning.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, officers were sent to the disturbance at a residence near the 600 block of Grace Court around 1:20 a.m. He says 30-year old Patrick Wimbleduff was taken into custody after an investigation by officers determined that a physical altercation had occurred.
Officers reported the victim had redness and scratch marks on her neck that is consistent with strangulation.
Wimbleduff was charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, third-degree terroristic threatening, and first-degree unlawful imprisonment. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
