Princeton Man Charged With Resisting Arrest

A Princeton man was charged with resisting arrest after he was reportedly stopped by police for driving on a suspended license Tuesday morning.
According to Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison, 21-year Dawson Teague was stopped by officers on Maple Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle with a known suspended license. Allison says when Teague exited the vehicle he attempted to walk away, but was advised by officers to stop and that he was under arrest. Teague reportedly pulled away from officers multiple times as he was being taken into custody.
During transport and arrival at the local jail, Allison says Teague was acting disorderly by kicking the inside of the cruiser and screaming.
Teague was charged with operating on a suspended license, resisting arrest, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
