The main roads in Lyon County have improved this afternoon, but some county roads are still snow-covered and hazardous.
Sheriff Brent White says the roads in the county are in better shape this afternoon than earlier today.

click to download audioSheriff White reported this morning there were three separate minor collisions with no injuries on US 641 North between Eddyville and Fredonia, which blocked the road for a couple of hours. The accident scenes were cleared around 12:30 and the road reopened.
Sheriff White says they are expecting freezing conditions tonight that will make driving conditions hazardous.
