The Caldwell County Fiscal Court Transportation Committee met earlier this week to start preparing for paving projects in the county.
The committee is made up of Chair and District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms, District 2 Magistrate Jeff Boone and Caldwell County Road Department Supervisor David Waldrum. The committee met with fiscal court members following its meeting Tuesday morning.
Simms said it’s time for the county to come up with a time frame for road paving and chipping projects for the Spring as well as allocating funding.
