The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 PM this afternoon until 9 AM Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of up to a half inch and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch. The advisory includes portions of western Kentucky.
Difficult travel conditions are possible as roadways turn icy.
Precipitation will start off as sleet/snow on the onset Monday evening before transitioning to mainly freezing rain through early Tuesday morning.
