Caldwell County FFA Paints The Hands Of New Degree Recipients


The monthly meeting of the Caldwell County FFA Chapter was held Wednesday with the main item of business painting the hands of those members who received degree awards on Tuesday night.
Vice President Rachel McClung explains the hand painting is to show their commitment to the local chapter.

Jacob Beller had his hand-painted green and said that joining FFA was one of the best decisions he had made.

click to download audioIn other business, it was reported that 53 students had completed their hunter safety training course. The course was offered by the Agriculture Department and after passing the course and qualifying in shooting the students received their orange card from the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife. Results of the local speaking contest were also shared with the first-place winners to advance to the regional contest to be held on March 17th.
