Crittenden County is looking for precinct election officers for the upcoming May primary and three days of early voting from May 11-13. In particular, County Clerk Daryl Tabor says they need Democratic workers to offer the proper party parity to serve voters.
According to Tabor, training will be offered at 10 a.m. on April 26 and pays $20. He says payment for early voting work, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is $100, while election day pays $140 for work that begins at 5:15 a.m. and concludes around 6:30 or 7:00ish.
Tabor emphasizes that poll workers are where democracy starts. If you are interested an would like to learn more, call Tabor at (270) 965-3403, email daryl.tabor@ky.gov or send him a message on the Crittenden County Clerk Facebook page.
