McCaslin Presents Update on New Weather Sirens to Fiscal Court

Caldwell County Fiscal Court recently heard an update about the new weather sirens installed at three sites in the county.
At last week’s meeting, Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin said they are waiting on the electrical lines to be connected to each of the three weather siren sites as well as a final inspection. He also noted the original siren in Fredonia will be reprogrammed to match all of the other weather sirens in the county.

McCaslin also informed magistrates he is still awaiting approval for the mitigation grant to purchase generators that he applied for on behalf of the county
