Volunteers Needed For ‘Truth & Consequences’ Program For Caldwell Freshman

Public Relations & Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Shelton

Parent volunteers are needed to help with a drug and alcohol prevention program for freshman students coming up next month that will be hosted by the Caldwell County Extension Office and Caldwell County Cope Center.
Public Relations & Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Shelton announced at this week’s school board meeting that the program “Truth & Consequences” was offered several years ago in 2019 before COVID hit and they are picking it back up this year.

She noted that it takes a lot of community volunteers to put on this program that will be held on April 20th.

Shelton said they are happy to revive this necessary program.

According to Shelton, any parent volunteers that would like to sign-up should call the Caldwell County Extension Office at (270) 365-2787.
