Memorial services for 67-year old Donna Jo Vinson Gray, of Princeton, will be Saturday afternoon, April 15, at 3:00 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 Saturday afternoon, April 15.
Gray passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 28, 1956 in Caldwell County, Kentucky to her late parents, George “Frog” and Joyce Traylor Vinson. She was a painter and member of Southside Baptist Church. Donna loved her flowers and will always be remembered for her green thumb. She also loved to travel, explore and hike. Life was always better with music and Donna loved all types, especially Van Morrison and a good concert.
Donna is survived by her two daughters, Chancie Gray of Hopkinsville, Mandy Waardenburg (Jake) of Redmond, Oregon; one son, Ted Gray (Sarah) of Princeton; two sisters, Vicki Threckheld (Mitch) of Princeton, Julia Braden (Jerry “Blue”) or Lyon County; one brother, Jerry Vinson (Debbie) of Kevil; six grandchildren, Paul Logan Cotton, Marleigh Meshay Grimes, Oakley Wren Waardenburg, Ava Grimes, Teddi Kate Waardenburg, Mycah Riddle; and many others that were considered sons to her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her long-time best friend, Paul Ed Gray; one sister, Rhonda Bond.
