Optimist Club In Need Of Item Donations For Radio Auction


The Princeton Optimist Club is continuing to collect items and donations for the upcoming annual radio auction set for Monday through Friday, June 5-9.
Right now, Club President George Kilgore says the main goal of the Optimist and Kiwanis clubs is to collect items to be auctioned off throughout the week-long fundraising event.

click to download audioThe Wes York Memorial Scholarship for vocational students that was established during last year’s radio auction is coming along well, according to Kilgore.


click to download audioPlanters Bank and Woodmen Life Chapter 92 are the latest donations the club has received for the vocational scholarship fund with Kilgore noting they have another donation coming in this week that will be a 10-year commitment to help fund the scholarship.
Kilgore says the are also looking for Platinum Partners, a program that started last year.
