The regular monthly meeting of the Caldwell County Long Term Recovery Group was held Monday night at the Princeton Tourism Center.
The brief meeting consisted of updates and reminders of the activities currently being conducted by the group. Co-Chair Katie Parker emphasized that there were still funds available for unmet needs and the need for people to fill out the Form B application.

click to download audioIt was reported that 14 Form B applications had been submitted and currently one of those applications has already been approved. The committee is processing the remaining applications.
The group is looking to secure a date to hold a Form B assistance day for anyone to come and meet with representatives to explain exactly what this form offers those who suffered loss during the tornado. They will also be available to answer any questions residents have about other forms.
The Terrain Restoration Survey is a new survey being sent out this week. This is to determine the need for continued debris removal and other clean up needs. It is important for residents to respond to this survey in order to know the need for more relief teams being scheduled to come to the area. Parker explained how the survey will be sent out to the community.

There are still items in storage from donated goods for those with needs and they will be available for a few more months. Camp Noah will be held in June and more relief groups will be serving in the area throughout the summer.
The next meeting of the group will be Monday May 15th at 6:00 pm.
