A traffic check safety being conducted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police Friday night led to the arrest of a Cadiz woman on multiple drug charges, including trafficking meth.
According to Sheriff Brent White, 18-year old Reaynne Maselli was a passenger in a vehicle in which the driver was arrested for DUI by state police around 11:00 Friday night. He says Maselli was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drugs.
She was taken into custody and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance – 1st offense (greater than 2 grams/methamphetamine), third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, prescription not in proper container, and public intoxication excluding alcohol. Maselli was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
