Caldwell County Holds Baccalaureate Service


The 2023 graduating class of Caldwell County High School held its Baccalaureate Service Sunday night at the Fine Arts Building at the high school.
The seniors entered the building with the traditional Pomp and Circumstance being played. The invocation was given by senior Camden McGregor followed by Class President Sydney McKinney reading scripture. Special music was provided by the high school choir and then seniors Kelly James and Rachel McClung provided those in attendance with a vocal duet.
Class Vice-President Kyndra Winters introduced the speaker for the night, Assistant Principal Daniel Kukahiko who felt it was an honor to stand before the class who invited him to speak.


click to download audioKukahiko, who is a Caldwell County graduate, is completing his second year as assistant principal. He is a member of Princeton First Baptist Church where he has served as a Deacon for over 5 years and is currently serving as the chairman of the Deacons.

He said his goal was to celebrate, encourage and offer blessings to the graduating class.

Class night for the graduating class will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the high school Fine Arts Building.
