Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday during his weekly Team Kentucky update that another $3 million in awards will be coming to the region from the Western Kentucky SAFE Fund.
The awards will come to the region to either help with lost revenues or to repair roads that have become damaged.
Governor Beshear also announced that the U.S. Small Business Association has declared that nonprofits in the 22 declared counties from the February 15-20 severe storms, straight-line winds, and flooding may be eligible for up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged real estate, machinery, equipment, inventory or other business assets.
