The Princeton Rotary Club will host a charity golf scramble next month to benefit its ‘Build-A-Bed’ program.
Rotarian Amanda Dossett tells Your News Edge the program provides beds for children in need in our community.
With rising prices, beds are now anywhere from $150 to $200 each, with Dossett saying every child is very appreciative.
The local organization handed out 78 beds last year to those in need.
Dossett adds they are looking to raise more funding for the program on Friday, June 9, at the Princeton Golf Course.
The cost to play is $400 for teams of four. Registration that day will begin at 11:00 with the scramble to begin at Noon.
Dossett says they will serve lunch before the event begins. She adds if you do not want to play golf, but still want to support the effort, the club is selling chickens they will cook that day.
The event is still seeking sponsorships, if you are interested or want to learn more, you can text Dossett at (270) 519-0996.
