A memorial visitation for 86-year-old Ruby Kay Ashby Dabney, formerly of Princeton, will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM to Noon at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
A memorial graveside service will follow at Dorr-Orange Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, in South Bend, Indiana.
Ruby was born on December 15, 1936, in Princeton to the late Woodrow and Virginia Blalock Ashby. Ruby was the owner of The Lighting Gallery in Lourel, Mississippi. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her family.
Ruby is survived by three sons, Jonathan Dabney, Wesley ( Lisa) Dabney, and Lesley Dabney; one sister, Cynthia Ashby; four grandchildren, Macey Dabney, Sophia Dabney, Amber Dabney, and Helena Dabney.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dabney; sister, Judy Franklin; brother, Woodrow Ashby Jr.
