A Fort Campbell Soldier was killed in a motorcycle crash in Clarksville Monday night.
Fort Campbell Deputy Division Public Affairs Officer Daniel Mathews says 23-year-old Spc. Elijah Robertson who was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash in Clarksville.
Robertson enlisted in the Army in 2019 as a combat medic and completed basic combat training at Fort Knox and advanced individual training at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
He was then assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) in 2020 and served as a rifle platoon medic until 2022. He was later reassigned to the battalion medical platoon in the evacuation and treatment section and subsequently deployed to Romania in support of Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce.
Clarksville Police say the crash happened on Fort Campbell Boulevard at the intersection of Durrett Drive just before 11 pm. Robertson was transported to Tennova Healthcare but later died.
The crash remains under investigation by the Clarksville Police Department.
