Fredonia Valley Heritage Society Walks Away With Two Kentucky Historical Society Awards


The Fredonia Valley Heritage Society was presented two awards Saturday at the 2023 Kentucky Historical Society ceremony.
A Special Projects Award was presented for the construction of the Fredonia Valley Veterans Memorial and a Volunteer Organization Award was also presented to the Heritage Society.
Fredonia resident Don Boone, on hand for the award ceremony, told Your News Edge the credit for Fredonia Valley Veterans Memorial goes back to Pam Faughn and Brother Presley Lamm.

Bro. Lamm, Pastor of Fredonia First Baptist Church, previously told Your News Edge that the Veterans Memorial is about to enter the second phase of the project.
