Optimist-Kiwanis Radio Auction Needing Community Momentum For Night Three

Some items that were auctioned off Tuesday night

The Princeton Optimist Club is happy about the total raised from night two of the Optimist-Kiwanis Radio Auction.
Club member George Kilgore said night two brought in additional funds.

After two nights, the organization raised $3,571 and sold 93 items.
Kilgore added they need the community to step up and help raise funds for the youth of Caldwell County.

Optimist club member Roy Gene Rogers said the club celebrates 51 years of community service later this month.

Rogers added the Optimist Club has become a vital part of the community.

For Wednesday night, JT’s Wingz & Thangz will be set up outside of the auction serving dinner from 4:00 to 7:00. The business paid a setup fee to the Optimist Club and is one of two local food vendors that will set up during the week.
The auction will begin tonight around 5:45 on 1580/103.3 WPKY, WPKYonline.com, and the WPKY app. The auction continues through Friday night at the Christian Life Center at Princeton First Baptist Church.
