Many people in our area, especially seniors, need fans to stay cool during the summertime. That’s why WPKY and the Edge Media Group are stepping in to help with the Cooling Our Communities campaign.
Through the rest of the month, WPKY and other partners will are collecting fans and monetary donations. Edge Media Group Marketing Specialist Heather Riley says there are a few locations where you can purchase a fan and leave it.
Riley adds that Pennyrile Allied Community Services is already seeing a desperate need for fans.
You can also drop off monetary donations at Farmers Bank locations, or if you would like to donate a fan, those will be accepted at the WPKY Studios. For more information, click here.
