During Tuesday’s Caldwell County Fiscal Court meeting, Sheriff Don Weedman provided an update on action his department is in need of taking soon.
Sheriff Weedman spoke with Your News Edge to elaborate on the needs, including the need to surplus three vehicles.
Sheriff Weedman said action concerning the three vehicles will be among the agenda items for the next Caldwell County Fiscal Court meeting.
Additionally, the department needs to upgrade its software for collecting property taxes.
Sheriff Weedman added the program is cheaper, more efficient, and more user-friendly.
