According to Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin:
“In case you are unaware, most of Caldwell County cell service (AT&T, especially) and internet has been down Tuesday. It has caused quite a havoc for emergency personnel and obviously the residents.
“PEPB called me early this morning to check in to see if we had service on our end of town and told me that UPS wasn’t delivering here today because of the internet being down. Just all kinds of crazy.
“An update from AT&T confirms it’s a network problem and their projected time for it to be fixed is 10:30/11:00 Tuesday night.”
