Princeton Code Enforcement Officer Alan Getz has been busy implementing the city’s Tag and Tow program.
Getz says one of his biggest priorities to make the city a little cleaner is to get rid of the abandoned and junk vehicles.

According to Getz, vehicles on both public and private property can be tagged and towed, but he says his jurisdiction is “anywhere a mailman can go.”

So far, he has tagged around 21 vehicles. Getz adds one of the biggest issues he has found with abandoned and junk vehicles is determining whether the vehicle is being worked on or is truly abandoned.
