In other park news, the newly reopened pool has been a popular place to cool off this summer and Rogers says the snack bar, slide, and splash pad have been a huge success.
The City-County Park Board meets every third Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in the park. Rogers adds attending these meetings are a great way to share your ideas and make your voices heard.
The park is home to a total of around 37.5 acres- in the years to come, Rogers hopes the whole park can be utilized for recreational purposes here in Caldwell County.
