Caldwell School Board Approves Partnership With Feeding America

The Caldwell County Board of Education approved a one-year partnership with Feeding America – Kentucky’s Heartland to provide food to students who are food insecure at home during the school year.
Superintendent Jeremy Roach told board members Monday night the food pantry would be overseen by Food Service Director Aaron McClung.

In other action, a bid was approved for new furniture, as a part of Caldwell County Elementary School’s ongoing renovation project.

Additionally, the board went into an executive session at the end of the meeting to discuss the latest evaluation of Superintendent Roach. The evaluation has to be completed annually.
Caldwell County students return to the classroom on Wednesday, August 16.
