An Eddyville woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck when a tree fell on her truck in Lyon County Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Brent White reports the wreck occurred around 3:00 on KY 730 East, approximately 5 miles southeast of Eddyville when 64-year old Sally Tyler was driving eastbound during a severe storm and trees began falling on the roadway. He says Tyler swerved to miss the first tree that fell, however, a second tree fell and landed on her pickup truck, crushing the roof and injuring Tyler.
Tyler was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Paducah for non-life-threatening injuries.
