The George Coon Public Library has a number of events coming up in the next few months.
This Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., Director Nichelle Faughn says the library will be hosting a teen “pixel art” program.

click to download audioTuesday, Aug. 8, FCS Agent Ashley Board will lead Stories, Songs, and Stretches.
Thursday, Aug. 10, the library will show the Super Mario Brothers movie at 2:00 p.m.
Faughn says they will start getting ready for their book sale towards the end of August. She adds the library has received lots of donations this year- thanks to the community, she thinks this year’s sale will be very successful.
Rebecca Pool with library programming says the Brick Builders club will begin meeting again when the school year starts.
click to download audioFaughn also mentioned the library recently received a grant from T-Mobile, with which they will be remodeling the upstairs portion of the building.
