Man Charged After Wreck And Pursuit In Lyon County

Authorities say a Georgia man is facing charges after he fled the scene of a vehicle crash in Lyon County and then led law enforcement on a pursuit into another county.
Sheriff Brent White of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation revealed 41-year old Marleo Farmer-Davis of Sandy Springs struck the building of a business with the U-Haul truck he was driving around 10:30 a.m. He then reportedly fled the scene after being stopped by the management of the business.
According to Sheriff White, Deputy Sam Adams located the U-Haul on Interstate 24 and Farmer-Davis refused to stop and led the deputy on a low-speed pursuit into Livingston County where he was taken into custody.
Farmer-Davis was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and second-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
