Motorists that travel on KY 91 in Caldwell County may need to seek alternate routes for a cross-drain replacement set to begin Friday.
District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the closure will be between Interstate 69 and KY 139 with a detour posted.
According to Jaggers, northbound traffic will be detoured to Fredonia via I-69 south toward Eddyville. Southbound traffic from Fredonia will be detoured via KY 139 to KY 70.
She says warning signs have already been installed in advance in order to alert drivers of the upcoming work.
A second closure will be necessary to complete the work.
