Princeton Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison For Meth Distribution


A Princeton man was sentenced in federal court Wednesday to 10 years in prison on charges of distributing methamphetamine.
According to court documents, 49-year old Donald Ray Adams distributed 50 grams or more of meth in Caldwell County on separate dates in March, June, and August of 2021. Furthermore, on September 23, 2021, Adams reportedly possessed with the intent to distribute over 400 grams of meth. He was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison followed by 5 years supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
The case was investigated by the DEA Paducah post and Kentucky State Police, with assistance from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Seth Hancock, Chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office, prosecuted the case.
