A domestic disturbance at a residence on Hillview Court led to the arrest of a Princeton man Friday night.
According to Princeton Police, officers responded to the disturbance near the 300 block of Hillview Court shortly after 11:00 p.m. where they made contact with 29-year old Jerald Swetland.
Police said an investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred. The victim reportedly told officers that Swetland had grabbed her neck and held her down during the altercation.
Swetland was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
