Judge-Executive Kota Young has announced that a section of KY 91/Marion Road in Caldwell County will be closed again Tuesday between the Primary School and Heaton’s to finish repair work on a failing cross drain.
In a post on his Facebook page Monday evening, Young stated that while the state transportation cabinet cannot detour on non-state highways, Jeff Watson Road will remain open to light traffic during the road closure. All semi and truck traffic should still utilize the state detour.
According to Young, transportation officials will also be on-site to allow local traffic through on either side of the closure.
