Donna Lynn Puckett, age 65, of Princeton, passed away on August 21, 2023, at her home.
Donna was born May 22, 1958, to the late Thomas Shirley and Loretta Dunn Prowell. She enjoyed gardening roses and tomatoes, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved helping her family and had a big personality.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Leland Hebert) Valentine of Madisonville; son, Johnny (Barbara) Valentine of Hopkinsville; step-daughter, Dawn (Troy) Valentine-Smith; step-sons, Tim Puckett of Muhlenburg County, Brian Puckett of Muhlenburg County, Lonnie Allan Puckett of Muhlenburg County, Jeremy Puckett of Princeton, Anthony Valentine of Florida, Daniel Valentine of Nashville; sisters, Linda Richardson of Henderson, Sharon Mosley of Hopkinsville, Carol McGowan of North Carolina; brothers, Jerry Prowell of Hopkinsville and Allen Dale Prowell of Princeton; grandchildren, Hunter Valentine, Caleigh Valentine-Roman, Olivia Gray, Wes Morris, Jaslyn Morris; step-grandchildren, TJ Puckett, Lizabeth Martin, Lonnie Wyatt Puckett, Triston Hebert; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Barnett and Ryder Roman; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lonnie Puckett; son, Walter Valentine; step-daughter, Donna Valentine; Step-son, William Valentine, Jr.; brothers, James Prowell, Larry Prowell and Thomas Prowell.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Dean Cotton officiating.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 25, 2023 at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Meeks Cemetery.
