Heavy rainfall associated with a line of thunderstorms across the southern Pennyrile has resulted in several flooded roadways in Caldwell, Trigg, and Christian Counties.
The Kentucky Mesonet indicates Caldwell County received the most rainfall during the past 24 hours with 3.83 inches recorded as of noon Sunday. Most of the rain in Caldwell County fell after midnight with .22 of an inch recorded Saturday and 3.61 inches reported Sunday morning.
The Trigg County Mesonet recorded 2.68 inches, with 1.47 inches received Saturday afternoon and evening and an additional 1.21 inches recorded through noon on Sunday.
Christian County logging 1.27, with a tenth of an inch Saturday and the remaining 1.26 inches Sunday through noon.
And Todd County received 1.71 inches, with 4 hundredths of an inch recorded Saturday and 1.67 inches reported through midday Sunday.
