The Kentucky State Police is currently accepting applications from Kentuckians interested in joining Cadet Class 104, which is slated to begin in January 2024.
The application deadline for the class is by the close of business on Thursday.
Individuals accepted to join will earn $65,000 annually, have access to an improved retirement system with a sick leave buyback program, and have the opportunity to work closer to home.
KSP Recruitment Branch Commander Sgt. Michael Murriell says that applicants can now apply for specific vacancies at the KSP post of their choosing, including Post 1. He added when cadets have completed all their testing, the top performers will be guaranteed a spot at the post of their choice.
