The annual Black Patch pageants were held Saturday in the Fine Arts building at the Caldwell County High School. The event was organized again this year by Taryn Davis.
WPKY spoke with Davis during a break in the early stage of the competition.
She explained there were different age divisions including male, female, and adult.
Davis added this year there was no pre-registration and she was hoping for a good turnout.
When the competition was completed by the afternoon they had 51 contestants participate in the various contests.
Davis was assisted in organizing and presenting the pageants by her daughter Meadow and her mother TaJuana. The Princeton Optimist Club thanks the ladies for their contribution to making this Black Patch activity a success.
