Fall-like weather will continue into the weekend, with plenty of sunshine expected.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says dry air is in place over the weekend, but a few showers could pop up on Saturday.
Highs Tuesday and Wednesday could get into the mid 80s, with more sunshine. Powell doesn’t expect temperatures to get any higher than that for the rest of the year.
As we look toward October, temperatures should be in the normal range at the beginning of the month. Powell says cold air could begin sneaking into the region later in the month. The average high for September is the low 80s, while October’s drops down into the low 70s.
