Six local groups received grants Friday morning from the Angeline Henry Trust Fund administered by First Southern Bank in Princeton.
Megan Ball from First Southern welcomed the group to the presentation.
Stephanie Randall with the Caldwell County HOPE and COPE Centers said they would be using their funds to assist with the food program at the schools.
Geneva Malone from the Community Disciples shared they would use the donation for youth programs in the community.
Youth, Inc. representative Jennifer Sigler explained they will use the grant for maintenance at the ballpark.
According to Hailey Jones, the Caldwell County Soccer Association will use the donation for repairing nets and equipment at the fields.
It was announced during the presentation that the Caldwell County High School Choir program and Create Princeton were also awarded grants.
Angeline Henry grants are presented annually. The amount each organization received was not released by the bank.
