Private memorial services for 81-year-old Mary Lou Givan, of Princeton, will be held at a later date.
King’s Funeral Home, in Cadiz, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
One niece, Paulette (Richard) Mitchell, of Princeton;
And several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was born February 4, 1942, in Elizabethtown, to the late John Hiram Givan and Lillie May Givan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and John “Bud” and five sisters, Myrtle, Elefreda, Virginia, Martha and Hattie.
She died Friday morning, September 15, 2023 at River’s Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
She was of the Methodist faith, a retired secretary from Civil Service at Fort Knox, and was a volunteer for the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown — where she was involved with the hospital newspaper.
