Motorists need to be aware of three road closures scheduled for this week in Caldwell County.
Starting Tuesday and continuing through Thursday, October 3rd – 5th, District 4 Magistrate and Road Committee Chair Jeff Simms says Matt Rich Road will be closed to traffic at the P&L Railroad tracks. He indicates the closure is necessary to allow P&L Railroad time and access to rehab the railway crossing at that location. Simms reassures 4th District residents that updates will be provided as they become available.
Additionally, Simms says Cravens Road will be closed to all through traffic on Wednesday, October 4th, for a large culvert replacement, and on Thursday, October 5th, Mashburn Ferguson Road will be closed to through traffic for the first half mile from Hwy 128.
