The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will start paving operations on KY 672 in Caldwell County on Wednesday.
According to District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers, the paving will start on KY 91/Hopkinsville Road and extend a total distance of 3.69 miles to near mile point 8.
Wide loads will be restricted to a maximum width of 9 feet during paving hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Jaggers indicates the work is scheduled to be completed on Friday.
She also emphasizes the importance of adhering to posted speed limits, reducing speeds when approaching the work zone, and remaining vigilant throughout the construction area.
Motorists are urged to plan their route to allow for extra travel time and comply with all traffic control measures and signage in place.
