Jeanette A. Wegrzyn, age 90, of Lyon County, KY passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community. She was a homemaker and self-employed restaurant chef. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Chicago and enjoyed bowling, traveling, crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles and cooking.
Survivors include two daughters, LaVonna (Steve) Wileman, Eddyville, KY; Theresa Buck, Chicago, IL; five sons, Lee (Cindy) Wolfe, FL; David (Sara) Wolfe, Cadiz, KY; Rick (Marge) Wegrzyn, CO; Randy (Shannon) Wegrzyn, Chicago, Il; Brian (Marla) Wegrzyn, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wegrzyn; her parents, William and Lillian Nickel Phelps; three sisters, Evelyn, Hester and Bonnie and three brothers, Billy, Donald and Jerry.
Private family services will be held with burial to follow in Rolling Hill Cemetery in Eddyville. Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
