Drivers need to be aware that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a daytime closure of KY 373 in Lyon County on Thursday.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd says KY 373 will be closed at the 1.4 mile point between Crab Creek Road and Dyer Road, about 1.4 miles north of U.S. 62 to allow a cross drain to be replaced, weather permitting.
According to Todd, the roadway at this site is expected to close at 7 a.m. on Thursday and reopen to traffic around 2:00 on Thursday afternoon.
There will be no marked detour. However, Todd says motorists may self-detour via KY 1943, KY 293, and U.S. 62.
