Drivers need to be aware that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a daytime closure of KY 373 in Lyon County on Tuesday.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd says KY 373 will be closed between Crabb Creek Bridge and Dyer Road, about 1.4 miles north of U.S. 62, to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
According to Todd, the roadway at this site is expected to close at 7:00 Tuesday morning and is expected to reopen to traffic around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon.
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via KY 1943, KY 293, and U.S. 62.
Todd says this cross-drain replacement project was originally scheduled for October 26 but had to be delayed.
