Sharon Chambliss, 73 of Fredonia passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah. She was born July 20, 1950, to the late Frank Buchanon, Sr. and Donna Hamby Buchanon In Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sharon was a member of the Assembly of God in Eddyville and was the former owner of Buchanon Interiors in Fredonia. She was well known for her talent as an interior decorator.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebekah (Brandon) Waddell of Dawson Springs; sons, Jerry Lee Chambliss of Lola, Shawn (Stephanie) Chambliss of Fredonia, Kevin (Jennifer) of Princeton and Adam ( April) Chambliss of Fredonia; sister, Chere’ (Jerry) Riley of Kuttawa; brother, Frank (Marilyn) Buchanon of Grand Rivers; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Shewcraft officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell County.
