The board meeting was held at the Caldwell County Elementary School where several 5th grade students gave a presentation of the 7 Habits of Leadership. Principal Malissa Thomas explained to attendees that students were required to apply for the Lighthouse Team and obtain a teacher recommendation.
After the student’s presentation, Lindsey Nee from Duguid, Gentry Associates delivered the audit financial report for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, highlighting that no findings were identified.

Board members also unanimously approved a request for a CCHS Winter Guard Fee. Roach explained that the Winter Guard is wanting to compete this year and was looking for approval on its team fees.

Board members also heard reports from Director of Technology Ryan Wesley, Director of Pupil Personnel Laura White, and Assistant Superintendent Jason Clark presented the district’s results of the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) Data for 2022-2023.
