Princeton First Baptist Church, which has served as a central drop-off location for the past 10 years, collected shoe boxes prepared by area churches and groups to be placed in crates to be shipped to the processing center in Atlanta. In addition, crates of shoe boxes from 4 other drop-off locations were brought to the local church to be loaded on trailers to be transferred to the processing center. At the end of the week, 5000 boxes were collected locally, and over 18,000 were loaded onto the semi-trailers parked in the church parking lot.
