The Caldwell County school board heard some good news last week — the school district is currently experiencing a rise in attendance numbers, along with an influx of new students relocating to the district.
During last week’s monthly meeting, Laura White, the Director of Pupil Personnel, informed the school board members that the district is seeing an increase in new students moving into Caldwell County. As a result, the kindergarten program has reached its capacity and is unable to accommodate any additional students.

White also mentioned that there are currently eight students receiving home hospital services, with three more applications submitted.
