Sharon Ann Driver, age 74, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away on December 15, 2023, in Crittenden County, Kentucky. She was born on October 13, 1949, to the late Herman and Christine Walker Williamson.
A devoted mother, sister, and grandmother, Sharon’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of family ties. She is survived by her adoring children: daughter, Teresa Ann Fitzgerald of Fredonia; sons, Jerry Dwayne Driver (Karen) of Eddyville, Eddie Driver (Tonya) of Marion, Mark Anthony Driver (Kadie) of Princeton, Scott Allen Driver (Tammy) of Princeton, Michael Driver of Evansville, Indiana, and Timothy Paul Driver (Kathy) of Eddyville. Her legacy continues through her siblings, Norma Guess, Bonnie Belt, Lois Gregory, all of Marion, June Jones of Fredonia, and brothers Kenneth and Keith Williamson, both of Marion. Sharon’s joy was multiplied by her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one cherished great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her beloved husband, James Thomas Driver.
Sharon’s life was one of unwavering dedication to others, exemplified by her role as a caretaker. Her nurturing spirit was felt not only by her family but also by all who had the privilege to know her. She was the embodiment of kindness, always putting the needs of others before her own, and her selflessness knew no bounds.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm December 17, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home and from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2023 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Kirk and Bro. Steve Burkeen officiating. Burial will follow at Fredonia Cemetery.
